The Reading Association of Macedonia (MaRA) Committee, meets twice a year for business meetings. The MaRA Chairperson is elected by the MaRA Committee members and usually holds office for two or three years. The agenda includes reporting and planning of activities aiming at strengthening the network, the charges, special projects and reports. The minutes of MaRA meetings are recorded to make it possible for absent members, International Reading Association, IRA Board members and Officers, and all national associations in Europe , IDEC and FELA to be informed of the work. The business meetings are held in different parts of the country. The hosting council may arrange a professional Seminar before or after the meeting. Such seminars are often arranged to promote the area of special interest for the hosting council.
